The last weekend of May, Brussels becomes an open-air jazz festival. For three days, music fills the Grand Place, Marché aux Poissons, Place Sainte-Catherine and other squares. The largest free jazz festival in the Belgian capital — tens of thousands of visitors every year.
Free entry — all concerts completely free, no ticket or registration needed.
What you’ll find
The Grand Place main stage is the undisputed highlight — Gothic guild houses as backdrop, a jazz band in front. Multiple stages across the city from mainstream jazz to experimental, New Orleans soul to contemporary European jazz.
